Cochin > Kumarakom > Kovalam
(06 Nights / 07 Days)
Day 01 : Cochin
Arrive Cochin airport. Excel's representative will meet you as you exit the arrival terminal building after which you would be transfer to your hotel. Upon arrival check in at hotel.

Afternoon proceed for a sightseeing of Cochin covering The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry. The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese.

Day 02: Cochin > Alleppey (90 Kms / 2.5 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Alleppey, "Venice of the east" is one of the most important tourist centers in the state. These large network of canals provide Alleppey its lifeline. Alleppey was one of the busiest centers of trade in the past with one of the best known ports along the malabar coast. Upon arrival check in at Ac House Boat for a cruise through the enchanting backwaters enjoying the swaying coconut palms, paddy fields & the village life at close quarters.

Day 03: Alleppey > Kumarakom (140 Kms/4 hrs)
After some more sightseeing through the narrow canals, disembark from the houseboat at Kumarakom & check in at hotel. Kumarakom, a charming village on the Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom's soil is extremely fertile due to the proximity of the water source, this has resulted in the growth of a wide variety of flora in Kumarakom, especially the mangrove and coconut trees. Vembanad Lake is home to several types of marine life exclusively the 'Karimeen' (Pearl Spotted Fish), the 'Chemeen' (Prawns) and the 'Konju' (Tiger Prawns).

Rest of the day at leisure for individual activities.

Day 04: Kumarokom > Kovalam (175 kms /4 hrs)
Breakfast at hotel. Today drive to Kovalam.

Kovalam beach is known as the "Paradise of the South". It is an evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort. Kovalam is a dreamland for tourists all over the world. With high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue waters, this beach paradise creates a unique aquarelle on moonlit nights. The warm and clean atmosphere by the coconut trees and the white sand bed are perfect for relaxing holidays, as the sea breeze gently plays with the waves.

Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05: Kovalam > Excursion to Kanyakumari (95 Kms/3 hrs one way)
After breakfast proceed for a day trip to Kanyakumari, also known as Kanniyakumari in Tamil Language. It is the confluence point of three oceans - the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. It is also a vital Hindu pilgrim center, renowned for its exotic sunrises and sunsets over the horizon. One of the unique features of Kanyakumari is the multicolored sand found on its beach. Visit Padmanabha Puram Palace & Suchindram Temple en-route & Vivekananda Rock at Kanyakumari.

Later return back to Kovalam after enjoying the sunset on the Beach.

Day 06: Kovalam
Breakfast at hotel. Full day at leisure on the Beach.

Day 07: Kovalam >Trivandrum departure
Today in time transfer to airport to connect onward flight
